The Quality Assurance Program for Public Health Services was launched by Ministry of Health in October 1991. A new indicator for dengue was added in 1997. The indicator is Dengue Law Enforment Index with 70% optimum achievable standard. Any indicators which do not achieved the target set need to be fully investigated following the "model of good care" guidelines.
