ISO 9000 has been initiated by the Public Service Department in 1996. All the government departments are required to achieve ISO 9000 by the year 2000.
With the encouragement and enthusiasm from the Medical Officer of Health the District Health Office has been committed to achieve MS ISO 9002 by 1998. The program has received a strong and collective support from all the staff.
