Enforcement

The enforcement is done by the Health Inspector based on

  • Food Act 1983

  • Food Regulation 1985, Food Regulation (extension to Tobacco and others) Act 1993.

  • Control of Tobacco Products 1993.

  • Destruction of Diseases Bearing Insects Act 1975.

  • Prevention and control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988.

Persons caught can either be compounded or brought to court. The compound can be paid at our Health Office in Bukit Baru.
