We have replaced all the traditional latrines with sanitary latrines since 1996. Now we are concentrating on constructing water pipes to ensure supply of safe drinking water. Our effort is being supported by the Malacca Water Corporation as well as the kampung committee members.
We are monitoring the quality of the drinking water to ensure its safe for consumption. The parameters monitored are the chlorine content, pH and microbiological content especially Escheria coli bacteria. We are also monitoring the safety of drinking water from wells.
