Home visit is an important activity in Family Health and Development Services. This is done to assess the families' environment and facilities available at their places. We believe that a person's health is related to their psychosocial background. Besides that, home visit is also done for post natal care (nursing care of mother who has just given birth and her newborn), defaulters tracing (mothers, children and family planning consumers). In future it will be extended to include the elderly and children with special needs.
